This site is designated as Opportunity Site 17 in the Walthamstow Area Action Plan

Rooms of our Own was invited to a preliminary discussion by Waltham Forest planners and they were broadly supportive of all our proposals. Issues to be negotiated include percentage of affordable housing, which may be offset by the benefits of the community centre provision, and the height of the building. A larger number of housing units would both benefit the Borough’s target for the number of new homes as well as creating ongoing financial viability for the ground floor.
